  Zoom In

This button allows the map to get closer, making it possible to visualize all the information in more detail.
Click on the button, and then:

  1. Click with the right mouse button on any part of the map. A new map with a higher level of magnification will appear; the center of this map will be the spot of the click.
  2. Click on the map and drag the mouse keeping the left button pressed, defining, thus, an area on the map. A new map with a closer defined area will appear.
  3. The Overview Map will show the place to be visualized.

  Zoom Out

Click on the button in order to visualize a bigger area of the map.
This tool works the same way as the Zoom In tool.

  1. click on the button at a certain point of the map, or
  2. define an area, by clicking and dragging the mouse;
  3. a new map, with the center on the spot of the click, will be generated.
  Full Extent

By clicking on this button, the map will be displayed in its full extension.
It is not necessary to define an area.

  Active Layer

A click on this button shows all the features contained in the active layer framed in the main window.
It is not necessary to click on the area of the map or to define an area.

  Last Extent

A click on this button takes you back to the previous image visualized.
It is not necessary to click on an area on the map or to define an area.
