Select by Rectangle
It allows the selection of features of the active layer of the map, contained in a rectangular area, defined by the user by moving the mouse.
The result window presents the attributes organized in a table with up to 25 entries. When a bigger number of features are selected, a button appears, and other entries become accessible.
Click on these buttons to navigate the entries.
Click on this button to focus on the selected feature.
Click on this button to select by rectangle.
It allows the selection of features of the active layer of the map, which have been crossed by lines or polygons, drawn by the user by moving the mouse.
When you activate this tool, an extra window is opened. This window allows you to indicate when the drawing of the line or of the polygon is complete, so that the software can make the selection and show the attributes again. It is also possible to delete the drawing, by starting it over again, or by deleting the last point drawn.
Click on this button to select by line/polygon.
It erases all the selections done by previously active functions, such as buffer or Search. It also erases the Measure function.
Click on this button to clear any selection.
